The award-winning, biennial Beverley Puppet Festival returns this year for its 9th edition, but not as you know it. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the usual format of indoor and outdoor performances will now take place solely online between May and July. Thanks to support from the National Lottery, Arts Council England have been distributing art activity packs to 25,000 children and young people across the country. The Let’s Create initiative is aimed at primary and secondary school-aged children who are currently most in need of support, and contains an easy-to-follow creative activity sheet developed in partnership with 2018 Global Teacher Prize winner, Andria Zafirakou.
