The Local Discretionary Grant scheme is a new funding scheme aimed at small businesses, micro-businesses and charities. Applications for phase 1 can be submitted now until Sunday 21 June 2020.

The East Riding of Yorkshire Council website has recently updated with new inclusions in the FAQ section along with sector specific dates to be aware of.

The page contains sections specific to businesses, shops and High Street businesses for various classifications of re-opening and to assist businesses in operating safely. Details of financial support for households, businesses and charities who have not previously qualified for government funding during the COVID 19 pandemic are also included.

Applications for phase 1 can be submitted now until Sunday 21 June 2020.

Specific information regarding food, food businesses, pubs, cafés and restaurants is also available as businesses may look to change their model and diversify in order to maintain custom and help the community during this time. Guidance covers
